Course description:
This is a single-unit qualification which aims to develop a practising or potential manager’s ability to understand the nature and origins of personal values, beliefs, attitudes and prejudices, and the impact that this can have on workplace behaviour. Participants review the existing culture of equality and diversity in their organisation and gain an understanding of their own roles and responsibility in the valuing and managing of diversity.
Duration:
16 hrs, including induction and tutorial support (covered over 2 days)

Course description:
ILM Level 4 Qualifications in Management are designed to give practising or aspiring middle managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a manager. The qualification also acts as bridge between Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications, preparing learners for the more rigorous demands of study at a higher level.
The Award in Management is a concise qualification made up of two mandatory units – ‘Understanding the management role’ and ‘Developing management skills’ Here learners cover the core research, analysis and group working skills essential to practising or potential middle managers.
Duration:
Minimum 34 hours
Completion within three years
Credit value:
Minimum 8 credits
Structure:
• Induction – two hours
• Tutorial support at least two hours
• Two mandatory units with a combined credit value of 8

Course description:
ILM Level 4 Qualifications in Management are designed to give practising or aspiring middle managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a manager. The Certificate in Management builds and broadens the skills and knowledge gained in the Award. (Please note learners may join the Certificate directly and are not required to undertake the Award as a prerequisite). Participants complete the same two mandatory units as in the Award but develop further by building up their qualification with a selection of optional units.

• Completion within three years

Course description:
The Certificate for Professional Workplace Coaches is aimed at participants who will be significantly involved in workplace coaching – within an organisation or as a freelancer. Participants complete the same three mandatory units as the Level 3 Award in Workplace Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Managers and an additional unit ‘Undertaking an extended period of supervised coaching in the workplace’. In this practical unit participants will develop and improve their workplace coaching, planning, organising and evaluating at least 30 hours of coaching.

Course description:

This is a full day course and takes participants through the process of conducting EIA’s through the use of Encompass’s own EIA guidance toolkit. The course can be adapted to provide in house training to support the development and implementation of the organisations own EIA guidance.
